Mario Loyola is a fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty and the Texas Public Policy Foundation, and he is a frequent visiting fellow at New York University School of Law. He has taught negotiations at the University of Texas School of Law and currently teaches at George Mason University School of Law. He writes regularly on international relations, in addition to public policy, federalism, and constitutional law. He is a contributing editor for National Review, and has served as counsel in the United States Senate and as an adviser at the Department of Defense. Prof. Loyola began his career in transactions law, including several years at Mayer Brown in New York City, as part of the Latin America finance practice. He is a graduate of Washington University School of Law and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
